🥾 A study published in Wilderness & Environmental Medicine surveyed over 1,000 trailgoers in Rocky Mountain National Park and found that both hikers and trail runners vastly overestimated their wilderness preparedness levels, with only 15.7% of hikers and 25% of trail runners actually meeting the qualifications for being adequately prepared.
